TERMS OF LIMITED WARRANTY
Comfort Direct Heating & Cooling Ltd warrants that air conditioners and range hoods it provides will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Our obligation under this warranty is to provide ONE(1) year parts & labor from the date of the original purchase. This warranty is extended to the original end user purchaser only and is not assignable or transferable to any other party. To obtain service under this warranty, you will be required to provide a dated original proof of purchase.
This Warranty does not cover the following:
This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuses, fire, flood, acts of nature, corrosive environments, unauthorized attempts to open the unit, improper installation, electrical surges, power failures, attempts to modify or repair the product, and damage incurred during shipping. This warranty does not cover wear and tear on housing, wheels and remote control. This warranty does not apply to any product with an altered or defaced serial number or label. This warranty does not cover accessories and linesets sold separately.
LIMITS OF LIABILITY
Comfort Direct Heating & Cooling Ltd’s liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for any damages that result from the failure of this product or from the breach of any express or implied warranties. These include damages to other equipment or products and any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. This written warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability and fitness of a particular purpose. This warranty is limited to the terms specified above. No warranties, either express or implied, will apply after this period. This warranty may not be altered other than by the officers of Comfort Direct Heating & Cooling Ltd.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state of state (United States) or province to province (Canada). Some states or provinces limit what warranties may be excluded as well as how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above information may not apply to you.
